error codes and wont run

Default error codes and wont run

Hello,

First off thanks to the forum members who helped me get this 15 streetglide fixed up. A lot of the parts are from forum members. I have a few issues. I changed the speedo out bc the bike was wrecked and the speedo was broke. When I hooked it up the following things are displayed:

V Inner
Lw Range
ABS light is on

I fired It up after I re installed the gas tank and I heard a pop or click and it stopped running. Is the different speedo somehow interfering with it running? Is there a way to blank out the error codes without paying the Stealer? If it is a fuse any ideas where to start looking? I have a new battery and fresh gas in the tank.

Any help would be appreciated.

Have you double checked your quick connect on the gas tank?

When you pull up the code open the code then press the trip button and hold until it clears. If it's an On going issue the code will appear again.

I am used to my 07. Where is the reset trip button on the 15?

VIN err is displaying the ECM/BCM/Speedo didn't start off life together. Follow the procedures for "Password learn" and see if that clears the running issue.

Thanks everyone. Pulled the tank off and inspected the fuel lines. One came loose while I installed the fuel pump. It runs fine. I just need to figure out now how to clear the error code.

It’s the trigger (trip) button that you used to get into the codes in the first place. When the error code is being displayed, hold the trip button down until it says clear (2-3 seconds I think).
