After my FOBO app went TU due to a phone update, I switched to one of these too. Way better and cheaper than the FOBO "solution", which I now refer to as FUBAR.
I already have them on the HI bike. I am hesitant to go to a TPMS after we came out of a restraunt and my buddy's RK with TPMS had a flat rear tire after the TPMS leaked.
I had the CVO angled stems put on when I had the bike in for warranty work....wheel bearings going bad. They already had the wheels off so it was a no brainer to do them and install American Elites at the same time since my rear tire was cupped. Dealer cut me a good deal to do the extra work and we were both happy. Didn't care what the stems cost because it was a pia to check tire pressures with the stock stems.
I am super-**** about tire pressure. After I determined that my tires lose next to no air, I use the 'billy-club' test before I ride. I only check the tire pressure every three weeks or so, and generally only have to add a tiny bit every other check. Therefore, not a big deal to me.
