Yes, it will. It will be a slighter tighter fit for the seat.

For me, getting rid of the cat made the biggest difference on heat reduction.

Stage 1, oil cooler, cooling fans, cat removal, and full synthetic oil worked for me.

Going from a 96” to a 103ho the heat went up quite a bit, the crotch cooler helps , I might do the tank lift from DK.

You have a cam that has -8 degrees overlap. Get a cam (Andrews 48 is a good start) and have it tuned with a TTS or a power vision. Let the heat out,all the others are band aids.

I'm sure it's been mentioned, but a tune should be the number 1 defense against heat. It is addressing part of the problem rather than just putting a band-aid on it. Not to mention the other general benefits you get from a quality tune.

I take a lot of big trips throughout the course of the year and have a high compression motor. So I also added Love Jugs Mighty Mite fans which provide additional cooling while riding under 50mph. My EITMS never kicks on anymore during construction sites and stoplights. Two friends who have the ability to check oil temps while riding can watch their temps drop after turning on the fans. Not to mention keeping head temps lower, which is sometimes confused with oil temps.
