What do you guys think of this deal? 2006 Road Glide 95ci big bore kit, 203 cams, SE slipon's, stage 1 air cleaner and the download for $24,000 out the door including tax and license.
Nothing now I have a 1983 Venture Royal but its spread out all over the garage, had dreaded 2nd gear problem. Once I removed the engine for repair I decided to rebuild the whole bike, and thats about as far as I got with that.
Here is a break down of MSRP pricing for what you are looking at:
17,885 Bike in colors. black is a little less
450 Profile wheels if it has them
275 Security if it has it
320 Shipping
1,059 Big bore kit and Cams
700 Screaming Eagle mufflers
22,650 Total.
I didn't have the labor cost for the Big Bore install, but I would guess at least 500.00.
Looks to me like you are less than MSRP, and that is a good deal.
I think that you will find that the 1550 95 ci inch kit is alot more that $500.00. I think he is looking at a really good deal too.
Sub,
I doubt that you will get the stock parts, especially with the price they shot you. They will probably keep the stock parts for rebuilds and things like that.
I always get any parts that are taken off of my bike by the dealer. You paid for them, they are yours. Just be sure and ask, they probably won't volunteer.
The 500.00 I was talking about was for labor, not the kit. The kit is 1049.95 with cams, and I included it in the original price. The 500 for labor might be low, but if that is the case, then the bike is an even better value.
