OK guys I'm fairly new with harleys so bare with me. Definitely glad I got off a Honda though . So I lowered my elextra glide cop bike 2" in the rear . The bike as a whole feels a ton better . Feels like it hugs the road more and doesn' have so much of a top heavy feeling. Even feels like it handles better. But the one thing I didnt think of is the headlight . Shooting up in the air . Well I went to adjust it back out and there's not quiet enough adjustment left to get it where it needs to be . What would you guys do ?
Yes that will happen eventually . I just figured there would be more adjustment In it . But there was very little since it was converted to the day makers and has that ring
Pull out the adjustment bolt. Find a longer bolt with the same threads and install it. Typically Lowe's has small bolts such as you require.
I had this though just didon't now how well it would work. But since I've got a second opinion it it I'll give it a try . The bike is sitting great right now without lowering the front . As well as feeling like it' handling better it also feels like its getting more traction as well
