Default Harley-Davidson Motorcycles Extended Service Plan

Good evening fellow riders!

I wanted thank my current customers for the referrals and try to clear up a few issues with the various extended service plans. I've been working with Harley-Davidson dealerships since 2006, mainly as the Finance and Insurance Manager. This role has allowed me to become very versed with the various extended service plans. As many riders know, the Harley-Davidson Extended Service Plan is administered by CNA. My ability to sell this plan ended in 2009, as the motor company didn't want dealers to have to match the online price.

This turned out to be a blessing, as I was able to research other companies to facilitate rider's protection, without the high cost. CornerStone was and is a great option. I'm still appointed with this company and can sell their contract. Their contract isn't able to be sold into Florida, California, or Oregon. This was the main reason I again looked for an additional company to work with AND be able to offer coverage to all riders.

First Extended is an administrator, just like CNA. They assist with receiving the phone calls from dealership and adhering to the language in the contract. They don't decide what is or is not covered; only the contract can do that. Think of me and my team as the insurance agent with your liability insurance policy. Your agent doesn't decide on the coverage, the policy written does that. Once the policy is written and purchased, it can't be changed.

The coverage offered by www.discountesp.com follows the H-D factory warranty. If a repair would be covered during the factory warranty, it will be covered during the extended period. What I like about the First Extended Program, is that I get notified of all claims and can act as your advocate. This ability is unique and is what makes the contract/coverage better than the CNA administered program.

The contract does provide money for food/lodging. Not the $150/day like H-D's plan, but $100/day will be there to assist you while wait to get back on the road.

I look forward to assisting all rider's with their coverage. My intention with www.discountesp.com is to provide riders with an alternative to H-D's ESP and save them a lot of money. If anyone has questions, please reach out directly.

Ride safe and enjoy the ride!

Jim,

I have a current CNA ESP that expires on 2/3/2020, I expect that by the time it expires I will have between 80-90K miles on my bike. Does your contracts have a mileage restriction, as the CNA ESP states bike must have less than 75K miles to be eligible?

Thanks, Bob
