I have the 1998 Ultra and have become interested in purchasing the headsets. The post below has become very informative.....however, I still have just a few questions.

Is there any possible way to make the older headset work with '98+ bikes? Is there an adapter to make the older one work with my bike?

Is there one without the PTT and that is voice activated? I would like to be able to talk without pushing the PTT button.

I will be buying two of them....new or used...does not matter as long as they work. However, I do like to shop for best prices and best deals. Ebay has them all the time.....even those are high sometimes. $100+ for a used or even new set is high......anyways, recommendations on who has the best deals on these things?
