I ordered a shield from Baileys several weeks ago and their site advised that it was a 7-12 business day lead time. I waited 13 days and asked when shipping would be. They advised that they were about 4-5 weeks behind because they got slammed. The shield shipped 2 days after they spoke to me and I received it Friday and put it on the bike.
I got the 11" SSC from them, took over 3 weeks to receive it. After 2 weeks gave customer service a call, got some moron on the phone telling me his computer shows it as delivered. I went nut's naturally[:@], they fixed the issue after a few angry calls.Hard to say if I wouldbuy or recommend them again. BTW like the windshield, looks cool and does a great job buttheir customer service is 3rd world.
I've ordered four windshields from them and have a 5th on the way. I did have a small glitch on the last one. It was a similar deal where I waited the 15 days they suggested and then called. They said they were backed up but it arrived two days later. The other 3 arrived just as promised. I also had the very first one crack when I over tightend it. I called them and explained. It was a 13" SSC and the guy just said "we'll ship you a new one" no questions asked. I got it 4 days later. Can't call that bad service.

Doc..the fifth Cee Bailey I have ordered is a 11" SSC. I have a 13' that I love and gives total protection, a 9" that looks cool and that's about it, a 7" standard shaped dark tint and a 9" standard light tint. I'm hoping the 11" SSC works well for me at 6', cause nothing works better than a SSC for comfortable riding. Glad to hear your's works well. I'm always looking to go as low as possible and still get good protection. Then again you might be a lot shorter than 6'..so mind telling how tall you are?

Glider I'm 6' even. I love the 11", wish I had a 12" on windier days. The 11" would be a good choice if you are looking to keep style points and still have good protection. I tried to upload a pic but it's too large.

Yeah...the 13" is the one I use for real windy days or long trips. Total and utter protection. I imagine the 12" would come close or work just as well depending on upper body height. Would you say the 11" gives as good or better protection as a traditional shaped 8"?
That's what I'm going for with this SSC. I'm thinking the 2" shorter SSC will give me the look I'm going for, plus at least as good of protection as my 8" Clearview with re-curve, (which I don't care for it terms of look due to the outward curveature), and better than a standard shaped 8". Any thoughts on that?
