Default TBW question

I put an amp in the fairing an changed the levers on my '14 street glide....I have the factory bars.....but I get the codes that indicate a bad TGS connector....Could I have damaged the large end inside the fairing when I moved it around while changing speakers an adding an amp? Most things I read say the green connector is the normal source of the problem an the codes I'm getting (1510, 2127, 2138).....is there enough slack in the wire in the handlebar to pull the throttle sensor an get to the green connector? I've read where some have cut the green connector out an direct wired the grip sensors....if I can pull enough wire out of the end of the bar to get to the green connector I'll try it too before ordering a new sensor.
