Default Enforcer Rotor Question

So I removed both rotors off a new to me front 19” Enforcer wheel off a 2016 non-ABS street glide to clean and polish the rim. Im reassembling everything and replaced the rotor bolts and used blue loc tite as called for by the manual and torqued the bolts on both rotors to 25 ft lb again as called for BUT...

when I pick up the rim and wheel by the rotors I can feel each of them moving around just a hair? Is this normal? Each bolt had a super thin washer and another thicker washer that fit down inside the rotor which I assume is totally normal. What I can’t figure out is if the tiny amount of movement is normal or if I need to take the rotors off and reattach them. Thanks!

They are floating. The shoulder bolt bottoms out on the wheel the washer is so it doesn't rattle. The disk can expand when hot.

Cool thanks, I figured so but didn’t remember them doing that before I removed them.

Wink

The super thin washer is actually a spring, which the stronger one simply keeps in place. All is well! You can check such things out on a parts website.

I was told to replace those washers after removing the rotors. They are very cheap from HD.

I replace the whole deal, bolts and washers with the kit they have. Things tend to relax over time. Once they have been torqued and subject to the heat I just replace them, locktite and torque to spec.

You re good bud. Bolt em up. Harley recommends replacing all hardware and then charges you thru the *** for it. If the same hardware can hold my wheels on the same hardware can hold the rotors on! Just another MoCo money grab!
