If the rotors our off of the wheel how can you tell if their warpped? I assume laying them flat down on the bench and as you work around the rotor with your finger there should be no wobble. Sorry if this is a dumb question but mine do wobble very little when doing this. And I can't find how to check this in the manual.

 

Never had tried Your method, but it sounds like a good way to me!

 

Use a straight edge. How do you know if your bench is flat?

 

Raise up the front while the rotor is on the bike and use a dial indicator against the outside edge of the rotor (must anchor the dial indicator so there is no way to just hold it to get a good actual reading). I suspect you're referring to some sort of front brake pulsation...

 

if u have ABS thats what u might be feeling. but a warped rotor is not unheard of my 09 SG had a warped rotor and replaced under warranty.
