i had a chance to ride a 04 roadglide this afternoon.bike was completely stock. rode real nice, the only thing was the motor was very noisey, my softail has v&h so i really dont notice that much noise. It was like you could hear the motor and no exhaust.Lots of vavletrain noise.
Not all but most are. My Bud at work has a 03 Road Glide that has 14K on it and it's still pretty quiet. My 99 has 46K on it and it can get pretty noisy on the top end at certain RPM's. Funny though with a slight twist of the throttle I can make it go away. Just certain R's it sounds like a can O bolts. Runs great uses no oil and See's the 6200 RPM red line pretty much every time I ride. Got to get your speed up on the on ramp to blend with the flow.
I went for a short ride without the bags to air up the rear tire one time, couldnt belive the difference in the volume of the pipes. The bags really drown out allot of it.
