Do you have a USB charger cord for your phone? If so buy a USB plug from Cycle Gear and wire it like you would a battery tender. Plug your phone into it. Almost all cell phones use a USB type cord for charging unless you still have a 1987 model Motorola.
Google 'Jensen HD USB'. This is a direct replacement for the Harley cigarette lighter that fits perfectly and is designed for the Harley fairing. I have one and it works well. Plugs in to the wiring that is used for the lighter. And you can use it as a USB music source plug if your radio is capable.
