Greetings I have a 2017 Ultra limited with Screaming Eagle Stage One minus the headers.
#1: I'm wondering is there a particular header most people prefer .
#2: I'm told the headers will make the Screaming Eagle street cannons louder. Is this true, and if so, by how much.
You realize that anything other than the HD headers, will void your warranty? As well, they’ll not make your exhaust noticeably louder. Headers like Vance & Hines (without Cat) will give you slightly better performance than stock.
I have Fuelmoto headers and they definitely dropped the heat and added a bit of sound/tone over just the slip ons but i cant imagine you’ll see much if any difference between different catless headers on a stage 1... they’ll all make ya feel less heat and add a little sound.

Thanks TriGeezer. I was wondering about that, but when I talked to my dealer about pricing they suggested Vance and Hines, which totally threw me off since everything I've got so far is Screaming Eagle.
Next couple of questions. If the headers make you loose low end torque, why use them? Also are there any advantages to the True Dual over the "X" type?
