Howdy, it has been a long time gents. I need a new rear tire for the 2010 Harley 18 inch rear Agitator rims. was quoted 500 at Harley for one rear tire mounted and balanced.
I think American elite will fit the rear 180-55b 18 80H. Problem I am having is locating the front tire 130-60b 19 61H. is Harley still the only option for a front tire on these rims? Id like the front and rear tires to make tread wise. Dunlop American elite comes in a 21 but not a 19 in the 130-60B as far as I can tell
Found them for $211 at J&P. Dunlop American elite. They did have the front too. I just didn't see it at first. Only need rear right now so that will work in future. The Michelin was a few dollars more so I stuck with the Dunlop
I run the same size and have been locked in to the Dunlops. I've been happy with the performance but they are expensive. My next set of tires are going to be https://www.denniskirk.com/bridgesto...pfp545165.prdf This tire came out last year and has received very good reviews. About $320 for a set. If you end up with the Dunlops, you can buy them from Surdyke for 20% off MSRP.

Thank you. The Dunlop American elite is 211.96 from dennis kirk and free shipping no tax. I got 10k miles out of the HD branded Dunlop this go around pushing the 124.
surkey has some great prices on the HD Dunlop. only about 25 more for the rear. Not sure what the shipping would be though. free up to 20 pounds haven't weighed a tire. I like the tread pattern on the HD dunlops better
the main contenders for the cvo sized agitators are the stockers, American elite, Michelin cdr 2, and now the avon cobras are available.
there are other tires that will fit, but do not have the correct load rating.
I've used the stockers, and the elites. getting ready to replace again here shortly, have over 20k on this set of elites now. thinking of trying the cobras.
no real reason. i've been very happy with the elites. they last a good long time, haven't had a problem with cupping, the price is right, even the tread is nicer looking than the stock. have not had any issues with them in the rain either, i've heard the cdr's tend to be a little squirrelly. i've just always heard how good avons are, and have never ridden on them. the new cobras are supposed to be a good, long wearing, sticky tire. though i doubt i'll get the 20k+ that i get with the elites.
