This gps system is not friendly and complicated at times. Just keep playing with it and see if you can get it to work. Learning a gps needs to be done way in advance from when you going to need it.
I appreciate the input ... The bike is new to me and I am still learning the system ... I have a new to me 2014 Ultra Limited with the Boom Box System ... So far the Boom GPS does seem a little quirky compared to other GPS systems I am used to ... The Garmin Zumo 450 on my old bike certainly provides voice commands when a destination is chosen on the fly ... As do the systems in my truck (a GMC Sierra) and my wife's car (a Nissan Murano) which I believe are also Garmin based
I suppose I will just have to pull off the road, shut off the bike and set up my destination while running in Accessory mode ... So far this seems to work every time
