small leak

Had my bars swapped and used a +3 clutch cable. Now the exhaust bracket under the cable housing is staying wet. I’m assuming they didn’t use a new gasket or O-ring when they did the swap. I’m gonna take it back to the shop and hopefully it’s an easy fix. Never fails I’m a week out from a long trip.

thank you, I’m more concerned that either the shop can’t get to it in time or they try and say it wasn’t their fault...

The exhaust bracket bolts loosening up causing trans fluid leak is not uncommon. I had mine work loose once. I cleaned up bolts used some locktite and re-torqued no issues since.

had you read the thread yes it’s in the shop getting addressed, however it seems there may be other causal factors outside a gasket or O-ring but glad to see you building your post count...
