My 2015 Street glide did EXACTLY the same thing after trailering. engine light and red light on. Tried a new switch pack. Same thing. Checked all wiring with no visible issues. Headed to the harley shop Monday for a diagnostic.
Got my bike fixed. The HD tech told me the left wire was plugged into the right port and right wire into the left port under the dash area. Somehow it worked this way for 3 years. I bought some new LED turn signals and installed them. That was when my issue began. and he said when i installed those the added circuitry tipped a fault code and caused the issue. Sounds crazy but tgat is what he said.
Was it just one wire or the whole left plug vs right plug? I am having the same issue and I too had installed some LED turn signals but went back with the original lights. My battery was really low as I did not have it on the tender.
