Hi there.
My dealer recommends Progressive Suspension Touring Link to better manage the whobble and handling issues on my FLHTCU 2008. https://www.progressivesuspension.co...4/touring-link
Anyone has experience with this ?
Thanks
Yves
I have one on my '06, excellent quality and no adverse reactions. Bike feels like on rails, I also have 440 Progressive shocks and Intiminators in the forks.
Hello RHUFF and LUISAN, if you have aftermarket head pipe and exhaust, was there an issue with installing the Progressive touring link? I have read that there could be an issue with the cross (under) pipe being in the way. I have a 2013 Street Glide.
Thank you

I used to have Supertrapps, now I have Fuelmoto's Jackpots. A friend of mine has a 2012 Ultra with V&H and also no fitment problem.Just make sure you get the right TL for your bike. I would call Progressive to be extra sure.

Will help as will true track on my previous 07. Meanwhile, did you check steering head torque, tire inflation pressure, rear and front alignment, suspension components condition, swing arm bushings, wheel balance, tire condition / age? Collectively these components impact an older bike stability.
I've used the Progressive Touring Link in the past on 09 and up touring models chasing high speed wobbles, usually above 85 in long sweepers. I felt it certainly did help to eliminate or lessen the wobbles, but also felt it introduced more vibration. Guess it make sense that it would cause more vibration with a more solid link, the mount is still on the bike, but I removed the link because of the added vibration (I might add the link again to see if I feel the same). I also think the vibration became more noticeable with more miles, most likely worn motor mounts, worn bushings? Bike is basically stock with HD Premium Shocks that has 57k miles (I think i took it off about 10k miles ago). BTW I have a feeling 08 and older models might benefit more than the newer frames, but like I said it did improve the newer frames too. From past posts I've read most people never experience any issues with wobbles, but I have felt it multiple times on two different bikes a 09 Road King and 11 Limited and it can certainly make you feel uncomfortable.
