Default Make Vinyl Seat Darker
Hello, I’m looking for a way to make my vinyl seat a little darker. I just purchased a saddlemen seat and love the feel of it just wish it was less grayish looking and more black. Is there a protectant or cleaner that will do this? Thanks

Baileys is good this has worked for me a lot of years and will definitely darken it some ..

If you use the Doc Bailey's, make sure you buff it real good. It leaves a residue that will rub off and stain your clothes.

Go to tandyleather.com and get the 4 0z bottle of USMC Black leather dye item # 2100-01 $6.99 and redye the seat. I do leather work and use this dye all the time.

Might not, at least not for long. You’re trying to change the color of plastic. It’s not very absorbent

You won't be able to dye the vinyl and get it to take. Your best option is to take the seat out to an upholsterer and have them recover the seat in black leather.
