My Cobras should be on my doorstep any minute now! Hoping they aren't extremely loud since for once I'm actually enjoying the stock mufflers but loud pipes have saved me more than once.

They're really not very loud, but the sound is pretty good for my old TC88. Since you're waiting on yours, may I ask a favor? The right side of my set had the dimple for rear axle clearance, but the left side didn't. There's clearance, but I found it odd that the left side didn't. Let me know if yours is the same?

Will do. UPS man has not shown up yet. Mine are going on the 18 RG so that may or may not make a difference. I do know my right muffler has a large dimple to clear the shock bolt. Don't recall seeing one on the left when I installed new shocks but I'll check.
Arrived right after hitting reply above lol My stock left side muffler has what appears to be a dent vs a dimple on the top. No dimple like the left. Not even sure if it's suppose to be there as I have not noticed it before but it would be for axle clearance if it is made this way. Could be where my stock shocks bottomed several times???? The Cobras just have the right side dimple as far as I can see without unwrapping them.

Cool, thank you. I guess if it needs a dimple, it'll make itself one, lol.

Well I kinda know how you feel about enjoying the stock cans, because I removed the stock 07 cans and put Cobra speedsters on and they were just right for a while, then they got too loud. Once that happened I put the quiet baffles in my cobra speedsters and that helped a little bit, but after a while I couldn't take the noise any longer. I got a real good deal on some stock HD 103 cans and I am happy once again.

All my bikes have been loud except for a Goldwing. Last one Dyna with Short Shots. Old ringing ears just can't take that anymore!!!!
