Default Need help identifying a wheel

I purchased a wheel on ebay that was supposed to be a 16x3 rear wheel. The pictures showed an airstrike wheel with a 2008 and later rotor on the right side. Seemed right for my 2008 FLHTC.

I just received the wheel today, and started cleaning it up. As I was working on it, it sure seemed the left side looked the same as the right. So, I took the rotor off to see if it would fit on the other side. Sure enough it did. I didn't think the rotor would fit on the compensator/sprocket side. I'm wondering if they sent me a front wheel.

I've looked all over and can't see a model number anywhere on the wheel. That would sure make it easier.

Can anyone confirm if this is a front or rear wheel based on the information above? Or, knows how to tell the difference between the 41288-06A and the 41285-06?

Thanks in advance.

If it has 5/16" threaded holes on both sides ... It is a FRONT

If it has 7/16" on one side and 3/8" on the other ... It is a REAR

Have the Ebay Link?

I would agree with the bolt hole ID.

A quick google search shows:

41288-06A is a rear rim
41285-06 is a front rim

Yep, it's a front. Both sides are 5/16". It also included the right rotor. Which may have been what made them think this was a rear wheel. I looked all over that wheel, and there is no part number on it. But there is a part number stamped on the rotor - 41808-08A*. That's a front right rotor. Ughh.

Thanks for your help guys.
