They are the right size with the right mounting eyes. They are just cheap air shocks (at least the Gabriel and Monroe ones), with no really special properties.

.Lots of companies charge a lot more for the hobby market.

Then there is the argument about car wheels on bikes.
In the end, if you are happy with the mod I would guess that is what counts.

I have had mine on for 6 years & close to 50K miles or better on them. Been great. Can drop it down for the wife to get on easier & air it up for the ride. May not be perfect but for the money, they work a whole lot better than the stock shocks. Just wish I could get an air tank so it can go up quicker. I know they are getting made, but there is a reason I went with these shocks, I just don't have a lot of extra cash to spend.

MA-785 is the Monroe number and fits Corvettes 63-82 ... Basically the same chassis used in all Corvettes through those years
