Brake problem?
I have noticed when I squeeze the front brake lever there is a slight "notch" where it seems to lose pressure then pressurize again after a little travel. This happens even when stationary. Any ideas what might be the issue?
Could also be a couple of things. I'd suggest trying #1 below first, if that doesn't help go to #2.
1. After some time and use, the pistons in the master cylinder bind a bit and the ends where in contacts the lever wear. May just need to remove your brake lever and rotate your piston 90 degrees in your master cylinder, squirt a little oil between the piston and gasket sleeve and leave just a small dab of brake grease on the end of your piston.
2. Your master cylinder may be in need of a rebuild.
