Default Biketoberfest

The wife and I are thinking about going to biketoberfest. We have never been to it. Any suggestions on hotels that are biker friendly. We are not big party type people. Will be trailering the bike down from Ohio.
Trailer friendly and motorcycle friendly. Trying to stay around $200.00 a night. The wife would like oceanside but we will see.
Thanks in advance

You have tons of choices on the beach from Ormond to Daytona Beach Shore. Most hotels are bike friendly. Just a warning, Biketoberfest is a party!

In your price range you should be able to take your pick. If one of the deluxe high rise hotels is your style check ebay. Parking for trailers may be tight, but there are a few derelict shopping centers on US 1 north of town that will let you park a trailer for a fee.

Just a heads-up for anyone going to Biketoberfest. We just came back from a quick trip to the beach in PCB. Be careful driving down Front Beach Road, there's a ton of road construction going on and much more sand on the roads than there usually is.

As for the party, yes, it is one big party. But dont let that deter you. There are plenty of other things to do, places to shop and lots of activities other than bars. In fact just about 2 weeks or so ago the Skywheel ooened in Pier Park. It provides a pretty cool view of PCB and the ocean.

There are plenty of places to stay its a nice event a lot better then the big event, Just beware the local police department like to write tickets for the smallest infractions there looking for revenue.

I agree with Quik!

AirBnB is an Awesome. Or check out "VRBO", (Vacation Rentals By Owner) this is the newest type of AirBnB.

For "US", we saw a bunch more selections and better price points then AirBnB.

If you are looking for things to do you could contact the HOG chapter in Daytona Beach, they might have some ideas. Ride up the coast to Fernandina Beach area, Ride up to St. Augustine for the day. Look up DB on the web and look for other day trips. Biketoberfest is pretty cool, another option is go out the speedway and take in all the vendors and Speedway museum. One last thing, cast all inhibitions aside and ride out noth US! to the Ormond Beach gathering out there, interesting sights, people wise. You can go and still have fun just watching all the other fools partying. Note traffic around the speedway can get hectic and jammed up by mid-morning.
