Built my 103 over the winter, have 3k miles on it and absolutely no problems. But, I didn't use the complete HD setup, kinda deviated a bit (see sig). Bottom line is if the work is done by a competent wrench, it will be very reliable. Going to 103 is not a wast of money, but as others have said,I would list what you bought to see what is and is not a match and also for some tips on what you may do differently to get the most out of your money. Also, if you dont want to split the cases, ther are some really strong 95 and 97 inch kits out there from GMR, Headquarters, Kuryakin and you could do as I did, mix and match, but you need to research first, lots of cams need certain compression ratios to really come alive, and headwork too.
