Default Old Question. Old Bike

I have a 2003 Road King Classic -FLHRCI - in the 100th anniversary Silver and Black. She has over 90K on her and is exhibiting some signs of wear and tear. Now I know there have been threads about this before, but has anyone come close to matching the silver paint? The motor company has never, to my knowledge, released the color except in pen form. I really need a shake can to do some touch ups. Any help, even close enough would be great. Please!

if you think the paint is a problem, try getting a hold of that pinstripe tape. now, you're talking major headaches......

I had a silver 1998 Porsche Boxster. Touch-up paint for that car matched my 2003 Ultra perfectly.

My 07 Ultra, Black Cherry Pearl/Pewter Pearl, has an orangeish pinstripe. Turns out it is an exact match for the orange Chevrolet used for their engines. It pays to have a good body guy/ custom painter with a good eye...

mebbe so, but the pinstripe for the 2003 bikes is not going to be able to be hand done, doesn't matter how good you're guy is. it isn't so much the color, as it is the stripe itself. see the 'cross hatching' in the tank? that is made up of 'harley davidson' over and over.....
