Default Front End Wobble

2018 Ultra Limited Front End Wobble on deceleration. I had the failed wheel bearing wobble on my previous bike. This is not the same.

This happens specifically on a straightaway while decelerating. In second gear, bring the RPM to just above 3000 and release the throttle. Have my hands lightly touching hand grips. When the RPM drop close to 2000, front end begins to wobble violently.

Front tire air pressure is on the low side 32 PSI. Will add some air and see if it still happens. Meanwhile I made an appointment for service.

Any ideas?

I'd check the motor mounts, but being a new bike...take it to the dealership.

Yes, Dealership warranty.
Could be a loose neck bearing?

32 psi is NOT "on the low side." It is dangerously low. In addition to causing poor handling, it will cause accelerated tire wear, and probably cupping as well.

Get both front and rear tire pressures set correctly, and let us know if that helps.

Mine WAS wobbling when I applied the front brakes so I got some new brake rotors and it went away.

Symptoms sound like neck bearings loose. Ask your dealer to do a fall away test, and correct it if needed.

for a 2018 it’s not a fall away, it’s a swing back and your symptoms suggest just that.

At what speed is this? If it's 38 down to 20 it is perhaps the tire. Especially with Avons and some of the more aggressive profile tires.

Stock tires: Front should be 36 and they were 32. Added correct air pressure and still had the same problem.

Service appointment for Thursday.
