I put hog tunes speakers in mine soon after I got my Road Gilde and they rocked the stockers out the door, I just bought the Amp that Pez sells and it really woke up the bass and I didn't thinkI could get any more bass out of them, I mean they had bass out the A$$ before, now I'm hardy even turning the volume up and it thumps hard [:-]plus I have a set of speaker wires for two more speakers if I ever decide to add a tour pak OR maybeput a set in my lower fairing seems like someone made a kit to do that? really nice Roadie's both of yall! Check out my mounts for Road Gildes if you get a chance best looking mount made for a Road Glide IMHO I think Pez offers a forum member discount too!
I really like the looks of the Hawg Wired system. Spendy, but it looks worth it.
I think PhilM is running it. You might want to PM him about it, but my memory tells me he said it rocked.
I do have the hawg-wired system and it does ROCK!
You might wanna holler @ Bart for pricing. I bought mine from m&m cycle b4 I met Bart, but I'm pretty sure he can hook ya up too.
I would highly recommend it, if you want something FAR better than average.
I went with the HOG TUNES and they are much better than the stock ones.
I'm sure the amp would make a big difference, with any of the speaker that are talked about here on the fourm.
Just wanted to tell all 5 of you guys (PhilM, Ice, ikr0, Biggzed and gilbo440rt) that you all have some SWEEEEEEEET Glides.
Also why don't one of the speaker guys make a set of speakers to go in the Road Glide's glove boxes? I think I would give up that space for some more speakers.
Just my 2cents
