Sorry to read about your battery tender troubles. My battery tender jr. just kicked the bucket after 7+ years of constant use. I replaced it with the current/new version, with no ill effects. I hear ya, if you have had 4 go bad on you in a short period of time, I would be skeptical too.

Please post what brand you decide to go with. I for one am always looking for feedback on products.
