Exhaust

I have a 2017 SGS the slip on right side keeps getting loose. This is my first harly. Is this a common problem?

Could be the muffler clamp. Also make sure the bolts (under the saddle bags) are torqued properly

We can only guess it is the clamp that is coming loose, and I presume the bolt but can you confirm? If that is the case, blue loctite should help you out.

Torca band clamps shoud really only be used once per most manuals, but we all use them over. However, they get to a point where you think they are tight but will allow the muffler to slip back. If the band clamp is tightened to spec and it still occurs - replace the clamp.
