Default oil question

Any one using shell Rotella T HD in Twin 88 eng. or primary

No I am not but if it was the correct weight I would. I use it in my CBR and my pick-up truck. I was using it in my wifes truck but I bought yer a new one and I haven't changed the oil yet in it. The syn 5w-40 is good stuff just not heavy enough for Harley's in the Florida heat. JMHO

Rotella T is a great oil. The synthetic has numerous certifications and endorsements. If fact, the Vavoline Premium Blue and your Rotella T (both synthetic and dino) are at the top when it comes to recommendations and endorsements from manufactures. I have been considering it for my cummins, but for my Harley, like Capt.Bob, said it is the wrong weight for an air cooled big twin.
