First off the bottom end and pistons looked great these have 22,000 on them is a 120 inch crank and rods looked great
lifters and cam look like new yet.
I do see why these would sump pipe plug blocks 1/4 of the hole for oil pick up. (mine NEVER sumped)
heads is where the problem is. my heads were all redone 11,000 miles ago for seats falling out ( these are SE stage 4 heads) well on the exhaust side one valve has .017 while one is tight the second head has .014 while one is tight. on the intake side .004 on each head. this does make noise so adjustable rockers will be used.
both heads were cracked between intake valves. so new heads are needed
Who did the work, any chance for over torque of head bolts, rocker mounts, of cover bolts? Why adjustable rockers as opposed to push rods, access to valve covers on an INSTALLED engine looks minimal for removal for valve adjustments

this is a Milwaukee 8 were one rocker opens 2 valves adjustable push rods would not help in this case
