This... Most definitely!!! I'm certainly not a mechanic, but I know that when something is wrong, it doesn't go away by letting it sit,,, or by riding it while it's still wrong. Bikes are similar to airplanes,,, in that when they speak to us, we had better listen. Of course when we make a change (like bars) and something no longer functions properly (like brakes),,, we've done something wrong and it needs to be corrected. I don't mean to sound critical... It's just that brakes are a pretty serious thing to dick with.

like others have said......check for kinks.......open up the line at the caliper and see if any fluid pushes out when lever is squeezed

The bleeder would be easier and is made to bleed fluid, the hose connection is not made to open and close repeatedly. He said the brake works, just requires more effort now. Something is binding or there is a hydraulic restriction somewhere, and I would guess it is well above the calipers. If I remember correctly, there is a "socket" on the brake lever that the lever end of master cylinder push rod should be in. If the push rod is not in the socket it is at quite an angle and may be binding.

Update: I repositioned my front brake. Checked level of fluid and blead the line. IDK if I had air in line.....kinked somewhere or what but glad to say my brake is now where it was before I switched bars.

Yes I even did that. Brakes were the same. I did loose some fluid from master cylinder when I took it off to change handlebars. I laid it on tank and it leaked out (onto a rag obviously lol) but full range back and forth there is no change
