Currently have 2018 FLTRXS and added a hammock seat. Had a 2011 CVO Road Glide Ultra with the hammock seat. I am 5'7" and can "flatfoot" with Chippiwa logger boots on either bike.(the CVO does have 1" longer shocks) I do sit a little "higher" with the hammock on the RGS versus the stock seat but the issue isn't so much the height of the seat but the width.
I just put a new Hammock on my new Street Glide. Can’t really tell much difference for me. I think most of the height gain is in the passenger seat for her. It’s a sweet seat! Highly recommend it!
