Thanks GRBrown.

I needed to take the caps off, the images in my factory manual were too dark to tell, and it never mentioned taking them off (I guess they assume). Caps off, everything went down nice and easy.

Threw some 15wt in and the front is so much better.

Thanks again!

What were using (at first) to guide the the oil in through the fork cap ... a funnel?

I'm not sure any manual tells us what I suggested, that is just my experience of riding with air forks for umpteen years. Those tiny holes in the big caps make life difficult. A syringe or very small funnel can work, but takes quite a bit of time. Glad it all worked out!

Seasons greetings from across the 'pond'!

So, OK A quick yes or no from any and/or all of the hugely knowledgeable people on this forum. Can one fill the forks on an '06 electra glide ultra from the drain holes @he bottom of the forks? Top caps are removed, & the front wheel is OFF the ground with the forks fully extended.......Thank you. PS I saw this being done on Utube using a 60cc syringe, but the guy failed to identify the bike he was doing this on.
