I don't know why, I tried to love the roadglide, just everytime I got on it was like I was riding somebody elses bike. I guess after riding electra glide classics since 92 Im just ruined Dealer gave me a good deal on a trade for a new black Street Glide today. Its funny, I felt at home soon as I wheeled her out on the highway. Oh well you street glide guys got a new recruit!
I understand what you are saying. I bought a new FLTRI in 2005 and tried to love it for two years. After four different windscreens in two years attempting to find one that did what I wanted I gave up and moved to an Ultra. I am no longer looking for any improvement to anything........this bike is just perfect for me. They're both great bikes butthe FLHTCUI is just better suited to me and my riding habits. Sure is great to have so many good options, isn't it?
