Default Fullsac Baffles

I'm somewhat looking at replacing the baffles in my cvo mufflers with fullsac baffles. I know this is a tough question but is there someway those of you who have them, explain the loudness and your preference for the size you use.
Thanks In advance Jonnierock

that answer is going to depend on what you're putting them in. if you've got an m8, and still running a cat head pipe, it'll affect your results.

i have a 2013 110. the cvo baffles was one of the first things that i did. but i also have the fullsac sportpipe without the cat. i have the 2.0 baffles. a little larger and louder than the 1.75 but definitely not what anyone would call loud. has a nice deep tone, and does not drone while cruising at highway speed.

my wife has a 2012 103. i put a set of cvo mufflers with 2.0 baffles in her bike as a stopgap while she figured out what pipes she wanted to get. she had rineharts on her previous roadking and really liked them. she wasn't sure that she wanted them on the road glide. the 'stopgap' has lasted for 7 years and she has not been looking to change them out.

i highly recommend doing it.

Love mine nice tone. Good roll on rumble and it lights up when you get on it. No drone at highway speeds. I have no Cat in my stock header. I've been running g this set up for a few years. No regrets. I will be switching my header soon enough.

I like mine but when considering the cost of the mufflers, cost of baffles and cost of new packing you wind up with some pretty expensive used mufflers.
Glad I didn't go any bigger than 1 3/4" with stock pipe, basically a stage 1, as the back pressure is great for low end torque and noise is kept down where its tolerable.

I put the 1 3/4" in, without the cat, started it up, I liked it, my second thought was "oh ****, wife isn't going to like this" . Bottom line, all was good, she liked the sound also. Go for it, not an expensive change.

call full sac that is what i did
i don't remember the size of the baffle but i got the larger one after explaining i was touring mostly and did not expect to de cat the bike. if you don't want catalytic converters he suggested one size smaller baffle to decrease loudness.

I do not want to change the original question but I have a 110 pushing 125 square on torque and hp. I am running a 2 into 1 fuel moto exhaust but I would still want it quieter. I have a set of cvo exhaust slip ons un modified. Any suggestions without losing any significant power?

I run the 2" baffles on my 15 CVO with Fullsac DX pipes (no cat). Fullsac recommended the 2" for best performance on the 110 . They have a nice tone and can get loud when cranking on the throttle, but they are not loud when your cruising.

Why is it that the 1.75" baffle is only offered in the CVO muffs, which are a larger body, but the 2" is the smallest in the rest?

Tall Rid'r better check your info. Going with a big hole is the mistake so man make. This is one case where bigger isn't always better.
