I talked with James at Fullsac. I have a 2019 114 with a cat. He suggested the 2.25 if I was going to keep the cat. It has a nice rumble going down the road but not loud.
Tall Rid'r better check your info. Going with a big hole is the mistake so man make. This is one case where bigger isn't always better.
I think you missed what I'm asking...I want to do the 1.75 in my Limited, they are not offered for my stock exhaust, 2" is the smallest. They are however offered in 1.75" for the larger bodied muffler for the 110 CVO...Why/
that answer is going to depend on what you're putting them in. if you've got an m8, and still running a cat head pipe, it'll affect your results.
i have a 2013 110. the cvo baffles was one of the first things that i did. but i also have the fullsac sportpipe without the cat. i have the 2.0 baffles. a little larger and louder than the 1.75 but definitely not what anyone would call loud. has a nice deep tone, and does not drone while cruising at highway speed.
my wife has a 2012 103. i put a set of cvo mufflers with 2.0 baffles in her bike as a stopgap while she figured out what pipes she wanted to get. she had rineharts on her previous roadking and really liked them. she wasn't sure that she wanted them on the road glide. the 'stopgap' has lasted for 7 years and she has not been looking to change them out.
i highly recommend doing it.
I have almost the same (minus the wife with a bike). I have a Fullsac X-Pipe B rather than sportpipe, with the 2"cores. I love the sound. Very mellow but you know their there when you get on it.
