My friend was advised that the whole initial tune was not done very professionally. When he got his bike back from this guy the difference was flat out amazing. The reason I am posting this is that, from this experience, you should do some major research in finding a really good dyno tuner Before you do the swap. That is if you want to see the results that you deserve from that effort and expense. There will be no way for you to know how well it was tuned except to find a guru in your area. Good Luck.
Hi Don, I’m over on the island and I’m wondering who your buddy got to tune his bike and with what device?
I had the Powervision and nobody close would touch the thing and I was so frustrated I sold my bike because it never really ran that good with similar cams.

I had what you mentioned done right before winter storage along with D&D fatcat exhaust and Arlen Ness big sucker and tune. Dyno said 98hp 110tq on a 2014 sgs. Tq is great out of jump street right through to the higher end of mid range. You did a good thing brother!

Put 'em in my 2011 Ultra Classic with a 96 CI. Also cleaned out the pipes, put on Screaming Eagle air cleaner, Rush mufflers and TTS tuner. Did it over 30,000 miles ago and have loved every mile.

Here it is. He used a tuner from Kuryaken and Russ said it was one of the best. I would be careful with the 'similar cam' unless an expert says it is.

LoneWolf performance.ca in Nanaimo. 250-616-6059. Russ. Andrew cams 48H Part # 216348. I have that equivalent Torque cam in my Wide Glide and I rarely need more than 1/8 throttle and I ride fairly aggressively. My WG is a 95" with ported and polished heads. His bike is a bit faster than mine and it weighs something like 250lbs more. I could kick its butt pretty good before the dyno tune from Russ.

Since you're in Illinois,Valley Racing in Beecher is a good Dyno tuner.
