I’ve done apes on my 2 road kings. My 02,I soldered extensions, 30,000 miles, no problems. I just did my 2014, Namz extensions, would have been great if they sent all the wiring I needed. No extensions for tthe TBW and I had to solder extensions for the turn signals. I wasn’t impressed.

You didn't mention if you plan on internally wiring your new bars. If so that is a lot of splices to fit and pull through the bars. Here is a link to the Namz kit I have used on that model bike ... $56.00. The bulk wire, unless you already have it, will cost something.

For a few bucks more I use the longer extensions allowing me to stagger the splices better inside the bars. .
What about extensions for the brake line and clutch cable? Im about to put some 14" klock Werks on my 2012 RG Ultra and want to make sure I have eveything I need before I get started.

Your bike is not CANBUS and there's no such thing as extensions for the clutch cable and brake line. They have to be replaced with a longer cable and line if you're going higher than a 10" bar.

Thats what I was thinking. I see kits for around $300 that come with the wires, clutch cables and brake lines. Would it be cheaper to just buy them all separate? If so where is the best place to find the clutch cable and brake lines? Going with 14" bars.

Magnum is where you want to look. They sell clutch, brake, wire kits. the works. I see it looks like you already ordered a wire kit though. Personally for me that was a no go. I did not want a plug in type connection up inside the bar. If that works loose I have to completely disassemble.
I soldered mine. Not for everyone of course. Not everyone can. I can so I did. I can't weld so I don't. simple as that. If you look at magnum Call Them with questions. They are great about helping you measure to make sure you get what you need. My bars were 12 inch which is +4 over stock. However. For one I went +4 for the other I went +6, +4 would have been too tight. This was based on measurements the gal at Magnum gave me instructions for. Big help.
Here is my thread if you are interested. My build thread

I did the soldering route, pretty easy, and only used $5 worth of wire. Too me an hour or so for the wiring part.
To me, it seemed easier than pulling the pins.
These were Wild One's 10" mini apes
