Exactly my experience as well on my Road King. The recurve gives you the same wind protection with a 2" lower windshield.

I went with the polycarbonate with the glass coating and haven't seen a scratch in the 2 years I've had mine. Long Range Shields has a quality product.

Don't forget to use the promotion code to get a discount. Code: 2019

Thanks all, I'm on the short side, 5'6" so I'm going to try a 14 I think. Or maybe a 16". Love all the positive reviews !

I have the RK Elite 18" with light tint on my '03 RKC. It works great, I love it. Had it on 3 years now and no issues with scratching or warping. Works great! They always seem to have a sale of one type or another, and sometimes a promo code, so use those if available.

I got a recurve and a vented version for my Road King here: https://www.clearviewshields.com/

It's awesome. I leave it on year round because when you open the vent it's nice and cool. I believe mine is 18" and I'm 5'9". Perfect for me. I can see over the windshield with virtually no buffeting.

There are instructions on how to measure to get the right size for you on the LRS website. This is important because two people of the same height can have very different torso lengths, which is the measurement that matters when it comes to selecting windshield height.

I have a 18 and 14 tinted ....would never buy anything else!
And if you wait for a sale you can get them pretty darn cheap.

Have had one for my Road King about 10 years, or close to that. Don't know the height but I very easily look over it and wind/buffeting is pretty much a non issue. If anyone is wanting to get one I would hold off until they have one of their very frequent sales. Should be due any day LOL...
