My two questions are,
1) Out of all the aftermarket windshields, has anyone found one that is just absolutely trash?
2) Which Has the best wind deflection for 2up?
I know height has alot to do with it, I look over the fairing about 8.5 inches.
I went online to research one for my 18 FLHTCU, and you have clockwerks, slipstream, national cycle, freedom shields, I'm sure I missed some. Also different materials lucite, lexan. Many choices.
Madstad makes the only adjustable that I am aware of. It adjusts for height and angle. Not many reviews but they are usually good. I wish there was a good YouTube video but I have only found one on a Road Glide.
Before buying one go for a ride and position your left arm across your chest moving your arm in and out, then up and down. You'll be able to identify the source of wind coming at you. Most riders don't understand where the wind and potential buffeting is coming from and will be disappointed with a new windshield when they expect a huge improvement.
That being said I've had a KW Flare for 9 years and it works great for me.
