After installing a 2" lift kit on my RKC, I had noticed more noise coming from the top of the motor. Made no sense until someone on here suggested that the tank in its original position may have muffled the inherent TC noises we all get. So I tried putting some strips under the tank of 3M Sound Reduction Matting and will see if that makes a difference. It might not but then again who knows. We have 5" inches of snow that fell last night and more on the way but it kept me busy for a little bit. LOL
Caulk04, rockouts are in and it helped big time. Im running S&S 510 cams so there is always going to be some valve train noise. New SE lifters and Rods as well. Love the RoadKing.
