I used to ride a GL1500 Goldwing and still have the J&M headset and cords from that. I now have a 2010 Ultra Classic and would like to use the headset but the cord is not compatible. Can anyone tell me what lower cord I need?
My headset has the 2 piece cord with 8 pins at the top end where it mates with the short pigtail.
I had the same thing. I called J&M and they were able to set me up with the lower cord that would match up. Sure saved on having to buy another helmet and headset. Should be part HC-ZHD which is the Z series lower section 8 pin hook up cord for the 1998-2018 Harley 7 pin audio system. I bought mine thru my local Honda dealer and got them for $67.99 each. Total $147.20 with taxes in Texas. Mines a two tone Rootbeer brown 2011 Ultra Limited.
Another thing I added which I found on the forum for sale page, was the XM/Sirrus radio module and wiring. Got mine for $200 plug and play from another member. Not hard to install and sounds great thru the speakers or helmet.
