When to replace Clutch Cable

Main reason we replace them is due to the seal inside failing and letting trans fluid leak. If yours isn't leaking, it's still good and all you'd need is an easy pull kit. They came standard in 2007 or 2008 IIRC.

pushing 50k on my 2012 Ultra, I have a new cable I plan to install next summer when I do the fork etc. Just peace of mind.

I lost the ends on a couple clutch cables in my younger days so I got into the habit of changing mine every 3 or 4 years, cheap peace of mind to me. Still have a spare for the shovel hanging on the wall.
