Default Kuryakyn Switchblade mounts

Sorry.....I've done some searching and need some clarification.
Dothese switchblades with the Magnum quick clamps http://www.kuryakyn.com/products.asp...ey&ci=3588have the problem where they rotate as soon as you put some weight on the heel rest? I'm 6', 190 lbs and feel that this mount may work.
(I love it when a mounting works)

I have them, 210 lbs, 6'2", no problems with them loosening up for me, sometimes I push myself back into my seat against them too.
I hardly ever put the heel rest down though.

I've got them on mine, overall like them a lot you really gotta put some presure on the to make em move. I take it easy on the heel part it just looks like it not that stout, but it makes for a great heel rest on long trips though!

I had a set on my last bike, a zuki m50, and they constantly rolled on me. I believe this was due to the adaptor that was need to fit metric.

they are a realy nice looking set of pegs, just remember that since it has moving parts, you have to check the swing while you are snugging up things on your bike.

Thanks for the replies. I'm about to pull the trigger and order them. Looks like M&M's price is pretty good. I can only hope that the openings in my soft lowers will be the best (or adequate) place to mount them.

I had them, but dumped them due to the poor design. The problem is that thare are 3 axis of rotation, and there is no locking mechanism on any axis other than tightening it down. So if it doesn't tighten down at the right angle, you're SOL.

Problem was worse with the clevis out.

I'd recommend that you go with either the cruise boards or the basic pegs instead. I went back to the basic pegs and they've never been a problem.

Thanks for the replies, but now I'm torn. It looks like some have issues with the rotation problem.
Maybe I should just stick with these.

I'd save myself $50 or so, and they look like they would match my nostalgic boards.
