Now that I have the service manual question out of the way, can someone look up the part number for the oil filter for me in their manual? Since I do not have the manual as of yet, can you also tell me if there are any other replacement parts I need to get to do the 1k service besides the fluids. I am going to order the manual from Chicago HD and would like to get everything I need from them at once. (except the fluids, will pick them up local) As always THANKS!
11105 drain plug o-ring (one for crankcase & 1 for trans)
63798-99A Chrome oil filter
25416-99C Clutch cover gasket
11324 Primary drain plug o-ring (may be able to reuse existing)
34906-85D Primary inspection cover gasket (may be able to reuse also)
No problem simcom. I agree with xxxflhrci on the parts manual - It's full of exploded diagrams that illustrate how things go together as well as all of the associated part numbers.
ordered 2 of everything, and both manuals, from Chitown HD. one set for 1k and a set for 5k. have had this bike for 2 wks, got it with 17 miles on it. pulled into work this am and was over 850. dont think it will take long to push it to 5k. this thing is a pleasure to ride.
simcom, since you're an east coast guy like me, keep in mind Charlie's H-D in Huntington, WV. Jenny in the parts dept is outstanding and it's another source for -20% off including many aftermarket lines such as Mustang, Kuryakyn, etc. I have received my orders in a day.
simcom, i just realized that the numbers I gave you are what I ordered for my '06 roadking. Make sure you check to see if they'll fit your '07. I pretty sure they will but you may want to check to be sure. The only differencemay bepart number 34906-85D Primary inspection cover gasket. I think your primary chain is self adjusting and may not have that cover.
Serverpimp - can you confirm?
