Well here's the thing my 14 Limited stock heated grips still work great but they are not looking that great. Has anyone just removed the rubber from the stock grip and replaced with the Grab On Grip covers? I hate to replace the entire grips because functionally they are great. Would like to have a softer grip that still has the heated function.
I have a buddy replacing his grips soon and will be able to get a better look at his old stock grips to see if this is even possible.
I put a set of grab on grip covers on over the stock heated grips. They are comfortable and heat up just fine. However I am thinking of changing over to the new Kahuna heated grips.
Thanks...I figured on doing some surgery on the grips just want to not screw them up.
I like my heated grips too much to chance damaging them by performing surgery on them. Mine aren't exactly pristine, but I really don't care what they look like as long as they work.
