Prior to the server update here there was a thread about using a headset on the ultra with no helmet. Someone posted a link to a vendor that showed one that can be worn around the ear no matter what helmet your wearing. I did not save the vendor and now want to order one. Can someone help?
The "1/2 helmet" headsets can be purchased from Sierra Electronics in Troy, OH. http://www.sierra-mc.com/
1/2 helmet headsets are now on sale for $75 -- saving a couple bucks off full retail. I will tell you that they had a run on some bad wiring from their supplier, and I was returning the headsets about every couple months 'cause they shorted out. But the new headsets I just got (warranty replacement) are good, clear, and seem to have better sound than the prior sets.
No, I don't work for the company -- they are just the only company I've found with this kind of headset.
